Jessica Steen

 Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress who has appeared on both film and television. Her characters include Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Homefront, Earth 2 Armageddon. NCIS Flashpoint, Left Behind: World at War.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Joanna Noyes, an actress and Jan Steen, a director and actor. She is of Dutch, Scottish and Irish heritage.



 



 Apart from her acting career, Steen is an environmentalist and animal rights advocate. She supports David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee, in addition to other groups. She is a qualified diver and skilled in several circus arts such as fire-twirling stilt-walking , fire-twirling and stilt-walking.

  Melanie Jayne Lynskey ( born 16 May 1977) is a New Zealand actress. Her work is known for its portrayals of complex women and her knowledge of American dialects, she is a performer predominantly in independent films. Lynskey has been the recipient of two Critics' Choice Awards, a HCA Award and a Gracie.
